Terraforming Mars Companion App
This free companion app is designed to help keep the game running a little smoother. While the little metallic cubes are an awesome touch, we think you’ll find this app a handy replacement!
Note: This app is to help players have more fun with the game. It is not an official app by FryxGames, and all copyrights belong to their respective holders.
Here are a couple of notes to help you get started:
- To start a new game, press “New Game” and the game will reset to the standard starting stats of Basic Starter company’s production, etc. Alter your stats for the advanced corporations (We plan to add the various corporation stats later.)
- Press the hex button above the Plants box to “Make a Greenery” or the hex button in Heat (“Raise Temp”) to spend 8 units*. Your TR bonus will also go up (unless the MAX buttons are enabled).
- Press the hex buttons in the Steel and Titanium boxes to convert a single unit into MegaCredits (+2 and +3 respectively*). Remember these should only be used for Buildings (for Steel) and Space (for Titanium). The app doesn’t know how you’re spending it, so be careful not to use them incorrectly.
- Pressing the Oxygen/Water/Temp MAX icons will disable bonuses granted when you press “Make a Greenery” or “Raise Temp” (otherwise, TR will increase when you press these).
- Use the “Log” button to see what your actions were in case you don’t remember if you paid for something or did an action (for example, make a greenery tile, etc).
The app has an auto-save function to prevent you losing game status. If you restart the app or lose power, the previous game will be restored.
* Some companies have altered scenarios like increased steel conversion, cheaper greenery costs (for example, Ecoline), etc, so adjust these manually.
